Kevin Smith, AKA Silent Bob, the writer and director of View Askew's Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma. All featured many different characters played by the same people, but always included the trademark of Jay and Silent Bob. Most of the time they dealt with the comic relief of the slow moments in the films, such as the following:

Clerks:

Jay:

Shit, my grandma used to say, "Which is better: a good plate with nothing on it..." No, wait, I f*cked up. She said "What's a good looking plate with nothing on it?"

Dante:

Meaning?

Jay:

I don't know. She was senile and shit. Used to piss herself all the time.

Mallrats: (To William, who can't see the sailboat on the magic eye)

Jay:

I'll tell you what you need is a phatty boom batty blunt, and then I guarantee you'll see a sailboat, an ocean, and maybe even some of them mermaids doing some of that lesbian shit.

Brilliant no? But taking a one-line spouting stoner and a guy that only speaks when absolutely necessary and giving them a full length film seems difficult to say the least. But once I heard that all of Smith's characters and creations were going to be packed in, I started to get anxious about this movie. Here's a list of some of the people involved;

Keep in mind this is who I picked up just from watching it, there were some others I just couldn't name.Not too surprisingly, Smith pulls it off. Setting up joke after joke, pretty much alternating between inside and just plane funny, the film turns into a cameo filled epic of goodness. REAL 100% goodness, not that generic crap goodness you get at Jewel for six bucks. So if you are a Kevin Smith fan, you've probably already seen this, if not, go rent Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, and Dogma NOW!
