This movie looks something like The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, except it's the bad guys from different literature and film that are teaming up against a common foe. The main character, Van Helsing, looks something like a mix between Blade and Robin Hood.
Two great actors: Johnny Depp, who is great in just about everything, and John Turturro, who was hilarious as 'Jesus' in The Big Lebowski and great in Oh Brother, Where Art Thou? Secret Window is some kind of horror suspense movie about a crazy guy! He so crazy! Watch the trailer.
This movie looks quite awesome. Think ID4 set in the 20's with retro-style alien creatures. Some of the alien thingies remind me of the star guys from Earthbound. And unlike ID4, I doubt that the aliens will be defeated by a laptop. Summer 2004.
Starsky & Hutch
If there's anything American needs it's more 70's cop shows made into movies. Starsky & Hutch was cool and all, in some sort of cheesy 70's cop sow way... and the car is cool. But really, wouldn't Dukes of Hazard make a better nostalgia film?
NO! NEVER!
I like Kevin Smith's movies a lot, but this one just doesn't seem that great. At all. But who knows, I might rent it or something. Maybe.
Ray Romano, from the popular show Everybody Loves Raymond starts off his career on the larger-screen-than-the-one-you-have-at-home. The movie looks alright, but nothing particularly hilarious that makes it a must see type thing.
M. Night Shyamalan brings us yet another spooky looking suspense-filled movie of BOO. It looks really possum.
Comedy zombies, best movie ever.
So much zombiage. Goodness that only the undead can bring.
Super comicbook fun! April 2, 2004.
